Beginner Contest Math

Class Info

Beginner Contest Math will introduce students to math concepts common in the AMC8, Mathcounts, and other middle school competitions. Topics include Algebra, Number Theory, Geometry, and Counting and Probability. Students are encouraged to ask questions throughout the class, especially when working on difficult problems.​

Bryan Zhang is a rising senior at Watchung Hills Regional High School. He is a six time AIME qualifier, a USAMO qualifier, a two time USAJMO qualifier, a MATHCOUNTS National Finalist, and a USAPhO semifinalist. He has also participated in ARML, PuMAC, HMMT, and various other math competitions. In addition to math, he is interested in physics and computer science. In his spare time, he likes to play basketball, read, work out, and play videogames. He looks forward to helping others reach their goals in mathematics.
