Daniel Zhang is a sophomore at Yale University and has past experience with math/physics contests as well as designing course content for students. In his free time, he likes to play the clarinet and write poetry. Nathan Zhang is a rising junior at Watchung Hills Regional High School. He is a US National Chemistry Olympiad qualifier representing the top 6% of chemistry students in the NJ state, and a 2021 International Medicine Olympiad silver medalist. He also participated in many other science competitions, such as the AMC series, USABO, and Science Bowl. He likes playing tennis and learning biology. Matthew Qiu is currently a student in the 11th grade at Stuyvesant High School. Some of his extracurriculars involve being a part of student government, interning with the re-election campaign for a state assembly member, writing opinion pieces for his school newspaper, and being a member of his school’s debate team having competed and won awards at national tournaments. He's an avid writer and debater who is extremely interested in political science, English, and philosophy. Anmol is a junior at Watchung Hills Regional High School and loves math and biology. He has competed in many science competitions including the Science Bowl, PUMAC, the AMC Series and USABO. He is a two time USABO semifinalist, a British Biology Olympiad gold medalist, the 2020 International Medicine Olympiad Global Champion and the Rutgers-Newark NJ Brain Bee first place winner. Anmol enjoys being a Mathcounts Coach at his middle school and loves to teach both math and biology. He also enjoys singing and playing Indian Classical instruments. Stanley Jiang is currently a junior at Ridge High School. Not only is he well-versed in high school STEM curricula, but also he has had plenty of experience teaching and working with students within his community and across the region. As a teacher, tutor, or teaching assistant, Stanley is patient and accommodating to the needs of his pupils. However, as a competitor himself, he is ambitious and driven. He has participated and placed in many math competitions around the region such as ARML, PUMaC, HMMT, AIME, etc. and in the computer science USACO series as well. In addition to being both a teacher and a learner, Stanley is an aspiring philanthropist and researcher. Satvik is a rising senior at the Lawrenceville School in New Jersey. He has taught Alphademic classes in prealgebra, computational biology, and most recently the "Counting, Probability, & Statistics" course. Satvik has partaken in math competitions such as the AMC series, HMMT, and PUMaC, qualifying for AIME 3 times in the process. He's also a student researcher focused on computational biology with three first-author publications in peer-reviewed journals/conferences and experience in grant writing. Bryan Zhang is a rising senior at Watchung Hills Regional High School. He is a six time AIME qualifier, a USAMO qualifier, a two time USAJMO qualifier, a MATHCOUNTS National Finalist, and a USAPhO semifinalist. Daniel is a rising junior in NJ who loves STEM subjects such as computer science and biology. He has strong passion in computer science and he excels at web development languages (HTML/CSS/JavaScript), Python, and Java. Last year, Daniel was admitted to a summer program for high school students at MIT Entrepreneurship Program where he served as Chief Technology Officer for a startup company that they launched at MIT with high school students from around the world. He also chaired sessions for local middle school Gifted and Talented Program where he taught middle schoolers JavaScript. During his middle school years, Daniel helped his friends create a top ranked reading website. Besides his passion in STEM, Daniel is an avid photographer, skier, and enjoys training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in his spare time. Ashish Ranjan is an Indian student and a math enthusiast currently studying under his math teacher AGL (Ayush Goyal) SIR. In competition math, he has gotten the "Distinguished Honor Roll" on the AMC 10, Math Kangaroo 2021 (PERFECT SCORER) (GOLD), Math Kangaroo 2019 (gold) 2020 (silver) medalist, "SASMO" 2021 Gold Ruler, "SASMO" 2020 Gold Ruler, qualified for "INMO" (Indian National Mathematics Olympiad (equivalent to USAMO)), participated in SIMP'21 and many other international math camps, "TIMO" Gold ruler, "HKIMO" Bronze ruler, "AIMO" Bronze ruler, represented India at "Russian Maths Olympiad," qualified to represent India at the International Junior Mathematics Olympiad (IJMO) (SIMCC), and participated in various mathematical olympiads like AIME, and ToT (Tournament of the Towns). Shreyas Shrivastava is a rising sophomore at Novi High School. He is a two time AIME qualifier, TOT diploma winner and has gotten top 25 in MMPC. He has also participated in ARML, PuMAC, HMMT, MMATHS and many canadian competitions. He enjoys coding and chemistry. In his free time he likes to play cricket, video games and bike around with friends. He is also an avid competitor in HOSA as he got top 3 at HOSA ILC in Medical Math advanced and is also on the school’s quiz bowl team. Andrea Huang is a rising senior at Stuyvesant High School. At school, her extracurriculars include being a Big Sib Chair, a Varsity Debater for her school’s Policy Debate Team. She has debated at national tournaments such as Yale and Harvard. Stephy Chen is a rising senior at Stuyvesant High School in New York City. Some of her extracurriculars include being the junior varsity director for her school's debate team, the fundraising director for a nonprofit organization called Active Minds, a journalist for the Spectator, and also an intern for New York City's district 65 state assembly member. Boyuan currently lives in Sacramento and goes to Pleasant Grove High School. He's a self-taught developer, specifically working on developing dynamic web applications using Python and JavaScript. After completing one Harvard Online Course -- CS50's Introduction to Web Development to Python and JavaScript, he started to create several projects with the knowledge he learned, such as the Live Chatting Web App, AlgoExpert Clone, and more. Ethan Xiao is a freshman at Yorktown High School, and enjoys teaching and learning subjects like math, science, etc. He has participated in math competitions, such as the AMC 8, in which he has gotten the Honor Roll of Distinction, and the AMC 10. Venkatesh Alagappan is a junior at Novi High School. He is interested in being a doctor in the future and is interested in all things science. He has competed in math competitions ranging from Gauss and Fryer to HMMT and is the president of his school’s math club. Additionally, Venkatesh loves to learn challenging music and is well versed in both Western and Indian percussion, being the section leader of his marching band’s Front Ensemble. Other extracurriculars he participates in include HOSA, Quiz Bowl, Debate, and National Honors Society. In his free time, he likes to listen and transcribe music, as well as watch an unhealthy amount of youtube. Ryan is a rising senior at Union County Magnet High School and is experienced in math competitions, Science Olympiad, programming competitions, and robotics. He's participated in and placed in competitions such as AIME, CMIMC, and ARML. He's won multiple regional and state medals at Science Olympiad events, and he is a USACO Platinum division contestant. Anthony Zhang, who goes by Tony, is a junior at Magnet High School, which is located in Union County, NJ. Tony has been involved in the AMC competitions since 7th grade, and has been to AIME twice. He is also aspiring to reach USAMO this year. He has been to ARML in 2019, though was disappointed that as a result of the pandemic there has not been an official ARML in 2020. Dylan Yu is a rising sophomore who has qualified for the 2020 USAJMO. Outside of math, he likes physics and computer science, and is a USAPhO Semifinalist as well as in the USACO Gold division. Abhishek Vangipuram is a junior at Novi High School. He is a two-time AIME qualifier. He has participated in HMMT multiple times and participated in competitive mathematics for several years. He is also interested in computer science, physics and chemistry and is well-versed in these subjects. He is a USACO Silver qualifier and has taken the AP Physics C curriculum and AP Chemistry. He is an avid learner and very interested in teaching others as well. In his free time, Abhishek enjoys playing basketball, watching YouTube videos, and hanging out with friends. Aaryan Chandna is a junior at West Bloomfield High School, MI. He is a two-time AIME qualifier with a score of 10 his sophomore year, and he was placed in the DHR for AMC 10 his sophomore year as well. Like many of the other instructors, he has participated in PUMAC and HMMT and he ranked in the top 25 for Geometry at 2020 HMMT February. In computer science, he is a programmer for FRC Team 4737 and his coding team placed in the top 10 in the state in the Michigan Governor's HS Cybersecurity Challenge. Outside of STEM-related activities, he qualified for the 2020 and 2021 DECA ICDC conferences and is a part of several clubs at his school. He is also an avid volunteer, as he runs the MathCounts program at his former middle school, and as a member of the MI All Stars organization, he taught a class for a program with hundreds of students during the summer. He enjoys playing sports, as he is the captain of his school's varsity tennis team and he enjoys playing basketball. He also likes to watch sports, mainly football and basketball. Claudia Reines is a sophomore at the Union County Magnet High School. She has a strong interest in math and science fields having competed in Science Olympiad and written about scientific topics in the Newspaper Club at her school. Claudia has lots of experience tutoring and has educated younger students about environmental topics in The Green Cause organization. Having a lot of experience from volunteering at a camp counselor in the summer in a variety of educational programs, she loves teaching younger students in topics she is passionate about. Jiayi Wang is a rising senior at Urbana High School. She has been taking Latin since middle school and is currently in IB Latin. She is experienced in teaching Latin as she has started and led many previous Latin classes. She is also currently President of Latin Honor Society. Aside from Latin she is also interested in the fields of business and science- being involved in many other clubs such as FBLA, DECA, Science Olympiad, and many other related National Honor Societies. She has gotten state and regional awards and attended national competitions in those extracurriculars. She is a strong leader and it can be shown in how she is the VC for FBLA, president for Latin Honor Society, secretary for English Honor Society, and Captain of the varsity swim team. Joyce Zhang is a rising senior at Tuscarora High School. She started learning Latin in freshman year and has continued learning for the past three years. She has previously created and taught Introductory Latin to two other online classes at her local Chinese School. She joined the Latin Honor Society in her sophomore year and is now the president of the club. In her free time, she likes to paint, listen to music, and swim. June Yin is a senior at Watchung Hills Regional High School. In her junior year she was one of the top 20 scorers out of ~16,000 participants in the US National Chemistry Olympiad, qualifying for study camp. In sophomore year she made top 146 (Honors). June also participated in the NJ Chemistry Olympics - in junior year her team won 1st for Chemistry Engineering Research, and in sophomore year they won 3rd for Web Design. She also formed and led a team from WHRHS for the Washington University in St. Louis Chemistry Tournament. June's other interests include track, field hockey, and art. Sargam is a freshman at the Middlesex County Academy for Science, Mathematics & Engineering Technologies. Max is a junior at Rutgers Preparatory School with a passion for Computer Science, robotics, and Artificial Intelligence. He is a two-time American Computer Science League (ACSL) finalist, an ACSL coach, the Rutgers Prep Robotics Club Leader, and is in the USACO Silver division.
