Introduction to Algebra I

Class Info

By giving an overview of common topics explored in a typical Algebra I class, this course will give students a head start in the fundamentals of algebra. The course will briefly touch on a variety of topics, beginning with simple equations, expressions, and inequalities, then moving on to more complex topics, such as graphing equations and polynomials. Each class, students will be given a lesson, then practice problems. Some will be reviewed during class, while others will be done for homework. By the end of the course, students should have a basic understanding of how to manipulate symbols.​

Instructor Info
Janna is a rising freshman at Watchung Hills Regional High School. In school, she has participated in a multitude of clubs, including the debate club and robotics club, where she has won numerous awards. Additionally, she graduated at the top of her class and has received countless honors in her academic work. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing the clarinet, and playing tennis. She is excited for this opportunity to help others find their passion and potential in these areas.
